  • The outlines of the present research activities are to fabricate interdigitated array (IDA) microelectrode based microfluidic sensors for biomedical applications, especially for the detection of cardiac biomarkers viz. C-reactive protein, Myoglobin and Troponin in both aqueous solution and human serum.

  • 1. Indo-US (IUSSTF) Research Fellowship Award 2010 for carrying out advance research in conducting polymer nano-composites, at the University of California, Riverside, USA.
    2. K.S. Korgaonkar best poster award obtained on 15-02- 2010 from the Indian Biophysical Society, at a Symposium on “Recent Trends in Biophysics” held at BHU, Varanasi.
    3. Best poster award obtained at National Conference on Frontiers in Polymer Nano-materials and composites held on 18 &19 March 2010 at Dept. of Polymer Technology, B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Vandalur, Chennai, India
