  • Current Activity :
  • Since 10.04.2000, I am working at National Physical Laboratory as Scientist in Chemical Metrology Section. NPL Being a National Metrology institute it is our responsibilities to provide traceability in chemical metrology based on IS unit. This section is also engaged in preparation of reference materials, gases like methane, O3, single and multi elements solution of various cations. Under Indian Reference Material program we have more than 30 collaborators for preparation and dissemination of new reference material. We are providing testing facilities for various materials like PAC, indelible ink, ores, ceramics, metals and non-metals received from various industries, Govt sector, private sector and sister concern of CSIR. Besides these I am also engaged in studying atmospheric aerosols, global change impact studies and trace gases like NOx, SOx, Ozone, CO and CO2 emitted from various source like Bio-mass Burning, Vehicle Exhaust etc I have expertise in handling various instruments like FAAS, GFAAS, Spectrometer. Flame Photometer, QCM, Anderson, and HVS etc.
