10. Current Activity:
Research: I am studying the dark hollow optical beams to establish free-space optical links. Such optical links may find potential applications in FSO (free-space optics) and related technologies. Recently we have explored the possibilities of spectral switching based 1×N and 1×N×M architectures for optical interconnects and optical information processors. These techniques might find potential application to design state-of-art optical interconnects based on SIMO (single input multiple output) technique.
Measurements: I am involved in measurements for Luminous Intensity, Illuminance, and Optical filters.
